Next-Gen Mobility for the Modern Warfighter
Detroit Defense Announces Autonomous Infantry Squad Vehicle Prototype
Detroit Defense has joined forces with a premier off-road autonomy provider to revolutionize defense mobility. Together, we’ve developed a cutting-edge autonomous Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) prototype—delivering breakthrough capabilities without sacrificing its core mission: transporting a full nine-soldier squad with unmatched performance.
This effort directly supports the National Advanced Mobility Consortium’s Detroit Arsenal OTA solicitation (RPP-25-D12), forging a bold new path for U.S. military vehicle innovation.
Modular Autonomy, Mission-Ready Agility
At the heart of our solution is a modular autonomy kit that transforms traditional platforms into future-ready assets. With seamless transitions between manned and unmanned operation, this system empowers commanders to adapt in real-time to mission dynamics—enhancing both safety and flexibility on the battlefield.
Proven Expertise, Future-Driven Engineering
Detroit Defense is no stranger to delivering mission-critical innovation. Having delivered over 36,000 HMMWV ABS/ESC kits to the Army, we bring unmatched experience in vehicle integration, lifecycle logistics, and field deployment. Building on that legacy, we’ve engineered a next-gen autonomy stack optimized for the ISV platform.
Coming March 2026: Autonomy in Action
We’re gearing up to showcase our Uncrewed Systems (UxS) solution at the Army’s March 2026 Autonomy Testing. This will be more than a demonstration, it’ll be the next leap forward in warfighter mobility.
Detroit Defense is powering autonomy. Accelerating advantage.
